These are the best Tibetan carpets, manufactured in old fashioned way with totally handspun tibetan yarn. It is completely 100% handmade by the Tibetans. There are 60, 80 and 100 knots per sq. Inches qualities, we choose to bring the best 100 knots to our customers.

We guarantee to be the most inexpensive, as we are Tibetans providing you directly from our looms. A Brief description for those not familiar with the tibetan carpets, we use the wool from the sheeps raised by the tibetan Drogpas (nomads) on the highest grasslands of Tibet called Chang Thang. Which would also be the highest plateau of the world.

The wool are handwashed on the riverside and then brushed, Cotton yarn is wrapped on the looms ( mostly made of wood) and woven by wrapping a continuos length of yarn over a rod laid across the wraps stretched on the loom. When the rod has been wrapped for its entire length, a knife is slid along the rod, cutting the wrapped yarn into two rows of pile tufts. Ones the carpet is completed then it is trimmed and washed.
